Marsh Landscape Painting at Garrison House Acres Nature Preserve
In search of fresh air and a beautiful view! I have wanted to paint the marshes of the Narrow River for a while, but struggled to find a nice location outside of my kayak. A search of Narrow River hikes on AllTrails brought me here today to Garrison House Acres.
After a short stroll through leaf covered woods trails and beautiful meadows, I found what I was looking for. Along the edge of the marsh, the beach grasses and distant trees glowed with autumn color beneath the stormy sky.
I love the pattern of these water reflections!
Fluffy seed pods everywhere! My indigo jeans were covered in this pretty fluffy stuff!
Next steps will be in the studio... my chattering teeth and shaking hands ended this plein air session! Brrrr
