Painting the amazing view from Chatham Lighthouse
Beach roses, dunes and sunshine
During a workshop lunch break I took a little drive to the Chatham Lighthouse. I was expecting a Chincoteague type of tall diagonally striped lighthouse – and it definitely was not that. Thankfully, the spectacular view of the ocean and dunes of the Cape Cod National Seashore more than made up for any lighthouse disappointment.

Beach, sunshine, paints and an hour or so of free time make for the perfect lunch break excursion! I found a little space next to the parking lot to set up my beach chair and enjoyed the view.
