Plein air oil painting of a lobster boat moored for the evening in Friendship Cove, Maine.  I painted this from the pier of our vacation rental on a beautiful August evening.  Our little rustic cabin was situated between two working lobster docks, with a long pier extending out into the cove.  The setting sun reflected off the ripples in the water and illuminated the clouds in the sky.  I also loved the colors of the stacked lobster pots on the floats next the boat.  The painting is 12 x 9 inches oil on linen panel and framed a black solid wood frame with gold tone accents.  Available for free local pick-up/delivery in Rhode Island or flat-rate shipping within the United States.
