‘Lotus Garden’ captures the Wickford, Rhode Island  Lotus Pond in full bloom.  The lotus flowers bloom from July to August and is one of my favorite summer painting destinations.  This painting captures the lotus flowers in various stages of bloom as well as the cool and warm greens of the beautiful lotus leaves.
