Description

Sachuest Point is my favorite walking spot on Aquidneck Island.  There are beautiful views in every direction of the wild flower fields, rocky shores and wildlife in their natural habitat.  On this day, I really wanted to work on painting rocks and chose this challenging view of the rocks and offshore waves looking towards Sakonnet Lighthouse.  It was too windy for an umbrella and eventually the clouds and rain moved in forcing me to finish this in the studio.
