Plein air landscape oil painting of the secret moon bridge at Kinney Azalea Garden. The azalea and rhododendron bushes were in full bloom on this beautiful afternoon. Painted looking down the walkway with pale cool pink rhododendrons on my right and saturated fuchsia azalea bushes to my left. Kinney Azalea Garden is on the must visit list for spring in Rhode Island. The wandering paths through the shady azaleas and rhodendron are punctuated by cute gnome statuary. I painted this set up to the side of the main path looking through the brilliant flowers to the moon gate and sunlit lawn behind. The 6 x 8 inch oil on linen panel painting is available framed in a warm silver solid wood frame.
