Serene Sand Dunes: landscape oil painting of coastal beauty | 8 x 10 in

Description

When I need to reset I often go for a walk on the beach.   I was driving through southern Massachusetts and decided to take a little detour to Horseneck Beach.  I love the board walk through the dunes there and had my paints in trunk.  As I set up my easel in front of a lovely sand dune, the gray clouds parted slightly to reveal the clear blue sky beyond.  This sand dunes painting captures the sense of peace I felt painting in the fresh air with the waves gently rolling in.  8 x 10 inch oil on linen panel.  For more views of Horseneck Beach and my painting process, see my Instagram reel.
