Description

Black Point is one of our favorite dog walking spots during the off season.  There are so many beautiful views there, but I especially love the reflections in the tide pools.  I started this watercolor painting en plein air (outside) on the rocks at Black Point, Narragansett, Rhode Island.  It was a brisk day and only got so far before getting too cold.  I finished the painting in my studio using multiple reference photos I took onsite.  The 8 x 11 inch original painting is matted and framed in a warm silver solid wood frame to complement coastal home decor.
