When do the Lotus Bloom?
The Lotus Pond is located near the entrance to Hamilton Harbor condominiums on Route 1A in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. I feel so fortunate to have this beautiful lotus pond near me. For the past several years that I have painted here, the lotus flowers have started to open about the second week of July.
Best Time of Day to Visit
The lotus blossoms slowly close through the afternoon. At noon they appear to be fully open and by dusk the blossoms are mostly closed. The lotus are beautiful at anytime, but try to visit around noon if you want pictures like these.

Directions to Lotus Pond
The Lotus Pond is located next to the entrance sign for Hamilton Harbour Condominiums on Route 1A. The pond is often blocked from view by the cars parked in front of it.
